We are a multidisciplinary team of medical doctors, highly skilled nurses, dedicated social workers, specialized psychologists, clinical pharmacists, and expert dietitians who believe that everyone deserves to live \u2014 and die \u2014 with dignity and without suffering. We\u2019re committed to improving the quality of life of patients and their families as they cope with a serious illness<\/a>.<\/p>

We are also Balsam, a highly recognized pioneer non-governmental organization that has spearheaded the development and delivery of palliative care in Lebanon and the region. Our mission is to offer free, at-home, holistic services to patients dealing with life-limiting or life-threatening illness by providing medical as well as practical, social, psychological, and spiritual support.<\/p>

Our vision is to ensure that palliative care becomes integrated into our healthcare system and consequently available and accessible to all people across Lebanon.
